Content:

A young man, Richard Schneider, is arrested while trying to pay with cheques and cheque card which do not belong to him. Richard claims he is innocent but Detective Superintendent Severing wants to get to the bottom of this case and has Richard booked.

Meanwhile, the policemen are worried because they are not allowed to go on holidays.

It is suspected that someone on the Force is passing secret information to criminals.

A suspicious night club is staked out in preparation for a raid. The only officer missing during this operation is Frank Ruland who somehow managed to get a day off. His colleagues are surprised and suspicious when they find Frank in the club.

Mr. and Mrs. Guttmann, tourists from Bavaria, come the Police Station in Cologne. Mr. Guttmann claims he was beaten up and robbed. Officers Sarah Jansen and Jojo Schrader find the testimony given by Mrs. Guttmann questionable. Mr. and Mrs. Guttmann are asked if they could identify Richard Schneider as the assailant. It is then that Mrs. Guttmann breaks down crying. She admits that she had been verbally abused by her husband and that she had committed the assault and robbery as an act of revenge.
