- First day of filming for RTL-movie “Geister all inclusive” (working title)
Cologne (ots) – Today filming begins for the turbulent
comedy movie “Geister all inclusive” (working title)
in Spain (Cadiz). action concept Film and Stuntproduktion GmbH produces the
scary fun that is rich with effects for RTL, starring Erdoğan Atalay
(Alarm for Cobra 11), Kai Schumann (Doctor’s Diary) and Annette Frier in the leading roles.
“Geister all inclusive” tells the story of hotel
manager Michael Hagen (Kai Schumann) who plans to finally go on a long promised
late honeymoon with his wife Rebecca. But Michael’s boss has other plans: on
Majorca Michael is to find out why the luxurious hotel ‘El Sol’ is rapidly
losing its guests, many leaving in a hurry. In order not to disappoint his wife
and not to lose his job, Michael keeps silent about his assignment and flies to
the island with Rebecca as planned, hoping that it will turn into the dream
vacation they anticipated nonetheless. Upon arrival on Majorca he quickly
appoints the vivacious Spaniard Ramon Vasques (Erdoğan Atalay) to
hotel manager to provide support for him and secretly investigates why the
hotel is not running as it should. At first it seems that Michael’s plan to
keep his assignment from his wife seems to be working; that is until he
realizes that the hotel is haunted! A hard drinking ghost in the cellars is
only the beginning. For the hotel manager now begins the balancing act between
ghost busting and having a romantic honeymoon with his beloved at the same
time.
Producer of this spectacular scary comedy is Stefan
Retzbach. Director and camera operator is Axel Sand. The script was penned by
Derek Meister who previously wrote the script for the RTL event-movie “Quest
for the Treasure of the Nibelungen”.
The 90 minutes movie is produced for RTL by action
concept Film and Stuntproduktion GmbH in the Spanish Cadiz and the German North
Rhine Westphalia until the end of November (2009).
The broadcast of the movie is planned for 2010 on RTL.
