The principal actors Erdoğan Atalay and Tom Beck in an interview

What are the highlights the spectators should be looking forward to watching in the new episodes ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       There is a great deal of highlights - since we try indeed each season to evolve, and of course the stunts are getting increasingly more spectacular ... Nontheless we keep the classic basics, which are certainly a decisive factor for the success of the series.

Cobra 11 has been honoured with a World Stunt Awards five times already. Is there another extraordinary stunt in the new episodes which deserves to be awarded ?

Tom Beck:              Our stuntmen risk their necks every season, again and again, just to make the stunts always better and more elaborate. Once again there are many stunts involved which deserve to be awarded.

What was your impression of Cosma Shiva Hagen who was starring as a guest in episode "Cyberstorm" ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       Filming with Cosma Shiva Hagen provided a huge amount of joy. She is a nice, talented young actress.

In "Cyberstorm" there is another guest star, and that is RTL's idolized TV-journalist Kai Ebel, who is widely considered an eccentric bird of paradise. What do you think of him, especially in regards to his outfits ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       Kai is a jolly good fellow - filming with him was extremely funny. He doesn't dress the way I do, but it suits him in every respect!"

Tom Beck:              Kai is an amazingly funny, extremely cordial and in particular a very cooperative buddy. I also find it great that he is so consequent about his outfits. He may return any time - on our set he will always be welcome.

In the series you drive usually speedy muscle cars. Do you also like to drive full throttle in your private life? What cars do you drive ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       Of course, I like to speed but only within certain limits. I drive a Maserati.

Tom Beck:              Of course - I take great pleasure in driving a Seat Exeo with plenty of power underneath its bonnet.

Apropos fast cars: Last year you guys were invited to the Formula 1 event in Belgium. What have your impressions been ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       That was a marvellous experience. It was just overwhelming. And fast. And more than anything else: Loud!

Tom Beck:              Funny it is. To watch Formula 1 live is always good fun. The year before we had already been to Monza and I would of course gladly look forward making another trip to one of the race events of this year

Formula 1 race drivers must be in extremely good shape in order to be up to the physical stress of a race. As actors in an action show you ought to be likewise very fit. What are you doing for your fitness and health ?

Erdoğan Atalay:       As the filming of "Alarm für Cobra 11" is every now and then very strenuous und I use to do my own stunts, that covers my need for sports completely. I don't need anything else to stay in good shape.

Tom Beck:              I play sports at least five times a week. Either I attend a gym or I am running, depending on how much free time I have got in spite of the filming schedule.

Besides Cobra 11 you have got another mutual project: The comedy "All Ghosts included", which was completed in the end of 2009 and which is supposed to be broadcasted by RTL still within this year. Tell us about the shooting! Are there any funny anecdotes ?

Tom Beck:              There are too many of them - telling them here and now would exceed today's agenda. Of course Anne Frier contributed a great deal to that. She is an amazing and incredibly funny collegue.
